Introducing KeepCup

Posted by Arena Menswear on

If you’ve been following the news lately, you may have learned that we have just 12 years to act on climate change before the world as we know it is lost.

The world’s leading climate scientists have concluded that there is only a dozen years left for global warming to be kept to a maximum of 1.5C, beyond which even .5 of a degree will dramatically worsen the risks of drought, floods, extreme heat and poverty for the millions.

As we’re sure you’re aware, plastic waste is a leading problem contributing to the climate change catastrophe.

Introducing KeepCup

KeepCup’s missions is to encourage the use of reusable cups by creating sustainably made products that are fit for purpose in the context of positive a positive global campaign that strives to make a difference on how people think about convenience culture.

Disposable cups are lined with polyethylene plastic, and have a polystyrene lid. Typically, after use, these cups are thrown away contributing to the dangers of climate change. KeepCup means less plastic, with the benefit of it being completely reusable over and over again, completely eliminating the issue of throwing away disposables. And with most Cafe's charging 5p for for a take-away cup, and some even offering discounts for those brining their own cups, you could save money too!

At Arena, we stock a variation of KeepCup’s crafted from a series of eco-friendly materials, available in a variety of classy & masculine colours.
